Real bar training, official certification, and job placement support to launch your bartending career fast.
See why our customers trust us:
You’re not looking for another classroom lecture. You need skills that work behind an actual bar, with real customers, on busy nights. That’s exactly what you get here.
Our one-week intensive program puts you behind actual bar setups with working soda guns, cash registers, and professional glassware. You’ll learn drink recipes, but more importantly, you’ll master the rhythm of real service. Speed, accuracy, customer interaction—the stuff that determines whether you thrive or struggle in your first bartending job.
When you walk out, you’re not just certified. You’re confident. You know where everything goes, how the equipment works, and what to expect when the rush hits. That’s the difference between getting hired and getting hired and keeping the job.
We’ve been New York’s largest bartending school for over three decades, with campuses in Long Island and Queens. We’ve trained thousands of students who now work throughout the region’s restaurants, bars, and event venues.
What sets us apart isn’t just our longevity—it’s our understanding of what Long Island employers actually want. East Setauket and the surrounding North Shore communities have diverse hospitality needs, from waterfront restaurants to golf course bars to catering companies. Our training covers this range because we know where our graduates end up working.
Our alumni network spans the entire region. When local establishments need trained bartenders, they often call us first. That connection between training and employment opportunities is something you can’t get from online courses or generic programs.
The process starts with choosing your schedule. Our signature five-day full-time program runs Monday through Friday, getting you certified and job-ready by the weekend. If you can’t commit to full days, our condensed one-day option covers the essentials with the same hands-on approach.
Day one, you’re learning basic pours and familiarizing yourself with bar equipment. By day three, you’re mixing cocktails and handling mock service scenarios. The final days focus on cash handling, customer service, and the business side of bartending that many programs skip.
Throughout the program, you’re working with real bar equipment—not props or simulations. Soda guns, glassware, POS systems, and the actual tools you’ll use in your first job. You’ll also complete your New York State A.T.A.P. certification and Alcohol Beverage Control Law training, meeting all legal requirements for serving alcohol in New York.
After graduation, our job placement support kicks in. You get access to our 24/7 alumni portal with exclusive job listings, plus lifetime refresher courses whenever you need them.
Ready to get started?
Your training includes New York State A.T.A.P. certification, which most Long Island employers require. You’ll also receive B.A.R. training and complete instruction on Alcohol Beverage Control Law—covering the legal responsibilities that protect both you and your employer.
The hands-on component uses professional-grade equipment. Real soda guns like you’ll find at TGI Friday’s or Applebee’s. Cash register systems similar to what’s used at local establishments from Port Jefferson to Huntington. Glassware, bar tools, and setup procedures that match industry standards.
East Setauket’s proximity to Stony Brook University, Port Jefferson Harbor, and numerous golf courses creates diverse employment opportunities. Our curriculum prepares you for everything from casual dining establishments to upscale waterfront venues. You’ll learn classic cocktails, wine service, draft beer systems, and the customer service skills that generate better tips in any environment.
