Get certified, job-ready, and earning in just one week with Long Island’s most trusted bartending course program.
See why our customers trust us:
You’re not looking for another classroom lecture. You want hands-on training that gets you behind an actual bar, mixing real drinks, using professional equipment, and walking out with the confidence to start working immediately.
That’s exactly what happens here. You’ll master cocktail recipes, learn proper pouring techniques, and get comfortable with cash registers and point-of-sale systems. More importantly, you’ll understand how to read customers, manage busy nights, and serve alcohol responsibly.
The result? You graduate with New York State A.T.A.P. certification, a bartending license that employers recognize, and direct access to our job placement network that’s been connecting graduates with Long Island bars and restaurants for over 30 years.
Since 1989, we’ve been the go-to choice for serious bartending education on Long Island. We’re not just another training program—we’re New York’s largest bartending school, with campuses in both Long Island and Queens.
What makes us different is simple: we focus on getting you employed. Our instructors are working industry professionals who know what bars actually need from their staff. The training happens in fully equipped bar setups with real glassware, soda guns, and cash registers.
For Mastic residents, this means learning from people who understand the local hospitality scene, from the busy summer spots in the Hamptons to year-round neighborhood establishments throughout Suffolk County.
Our full-time program runs five consecutive days, Monday through Friday. You’ll spend each day in a real bar environment, learning everything from basic drink recipes to advanced mixology techniques. The training covers responsible alcohol service, New York beverage laws, customer service, and cash handling.
If you can’t commit to five full days, we offer a condensed one-day intensive program that covers the essentials. Both options include your New York State A.T.A.P. certification, which is required for legal alcohol service in the state.
After graduation, you get lifetime access to our job placement services. That means help with your resume, interview preparation, and direct connections to employers who specifically hire our graduates. Many students start working within days of completing the program.

Your bartending course includes New York State A.T.A.P. certification, Alcohol Beverage Control Law training, and B.A.R. (Beverage Alcohol Resource) education. These aren’t just certificates—they’re the legal requirements for working as a bartender in New York.
You’ll also learn on actual bar equipment: professional-grade soda guns, cash registers, glassware, and bar tools. The curriculum covers over 100 drink recipes, from classic cocktails to modern favorites that Long Island customers actually order.
The Long Island hospitality market is particularly strong, especially during summer months when tourism peaks. Local establishments from Montauk to the North Shore need trained, certified bartenders who can handle busy shifts and maintain quality service. With Mastic’s proximity to both the South Shore beaches and major employment centers, graduates have access to diverse opportunities year-round.
